Zortic: What can you tell us about that ship, Splink?

Splink: It's built out of air tight ceramic and it's tied to a large rock. The rock has obviously been propelled through space, turning it into a meteorite. The ship is then able to use the momentum of the meteor for propulsion.
[[Panel 3: More computer displays.]]
Splink: Waste is burned in a Dalite based fire. Dalite is a compound that, when burned, produces light and heat without consuming oxygen. And with a fire this big, it would also help prevent air escaping through the exhaust fume.
Splink: The light and the heat from the fire would also allow a layer of soft, highly adaptable fungus to grow along the ship's inner lining. Thus providing both cushioning and photosynthesizing oxygen for the ship's sole occupant.
